The next step is to complete our screening survey so we can make sure you and the puppy are a great match. This quick questionnaire helps us understand your home environment, daily routine, experience with dogs, and what you’re looking for in a companion. Your answers allow us to place each puppy thoughtfully and set everyone up for a happy, successful transition.

Coordinate a Showing
Next, we’ll coordinate a showing so you can meet the puppy and get a feel for their personality. This can be an in-person visit when possible, or a video introduction if you’re not nearby or prefer to start virtually. We’ll walk you through what to expect, answer your questions in real time, and help you decide whether it feels like the right fit before moving forward.

Exams and Vaccinations
Next, your puppy will receive a full veterinary exam and be brought up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. This step ensures your puppy is healthy, developing well, and ready for a safe transition into your home. We’ll also provide you with the veterinary records and vaccination details so you know exactly what was done and when future boosters may be needed.

Coordinate Pickup!
The final step is to coordinate pickup and bring your puppy home. We’ll work with you to schedule a convenient pickup time, confirm the location, and review everything you’ll need for a smooth transition—such as feeding instructions, care tips, and your puppy’s medical records. Once the details are set, you’ll be ready to welcome your new companion and start your life together.

Are Rottweilers good family dogs?

When should training start?
Day one! Even at 8 weeks old, purebred Rottweiler puppies are smart enough to learn “sit” and “stay.” Starting early prevents bad habits like jumping or pulling on the leash before they get too big to handle.
How do I stop a puppy from nipping?
Rottie puppies are “mouthy.” Use redirection! When they try to nip your hand, immediately give them a sturdy chew toy. Never use physical punishment, as it can create a fearful or aggressive dog.
What is a “stud service”?

What is the ADRK?
The ADRK is the German club that maintains the breed standard. They are the “gold standard” for Rottweiler breeding worldwide. We take great pride in our dogs like Hajdi vom Hause Drobny who come from these elite lineages.
