This is the big one! In Germany, the ADRK (Allgemeiner Deutscher Rottweiler-Klub) has very strict rules. To be bred, dogs must pass rigorous health and temperament tests. Imported German Rottweilers typically have a blockier head, a thicker bone structure, and a more consistent "working" temperament. American standards can be a bit broader, which is why we prefer the strict German bloodlines for our purebred Rottweiler puppies.
